Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of Transcendental Meditation, gathered with his inner circle one afternoon to review his plans for starting a worldwide meditation movement.

He spoke in great detail about his plan to create several hundred meditation centers in countries around the world, where teachers he trained could be dispatched to spread Transcendental Meditation to the masses.

As most of his inner circle nodded along in agreement, one brave soul interrupted Maharishi with a very sensible question: "But Maharishi, where is the money going to come from to pay for all of this?"

His answer: "From wherever it is now."
