If you would've asked me 10 minutes before I met my meditation teacher for the first time what I planned to do for a living, there's a 100% chance that my answer wouldn't have been anything related to meditation.
However, if you had asked me the same question 10 minutes after, I would've told you that I was destined to become a meditation teacher.
That's the funny thing about inspiration... how do you plan for it? I don't think we can.
I'm not suggesting that we shouldn't make plans. It's just good to remain nimble when the inspiration strikes, and the original plan looks like it's going in a new direction. We must be willing to change course without having all of the answers.
I believe we owe our heart that much--especially after all the times we ignored it, and yet it still continues to inspire us and provide steady guidance.
